Infants (6 weeks to 18 months)

Babies require lots of love and attention during this early stage of development. Our staff members offer the kind of caring hugs, warmth and nurturing you want for your child’s emotional needs.

Toddlers (18 months to 2 ½ yrs.)

Toddlers are, by their very nature explorers. For the first time they are able to move about, intrigued and curious about their environment. At Just Like Home, our staff promotes the child’s feeling of confidence by encouraging hands on experiences in a protected atmosphere.

Preschool (2 1/2yrs. to 3 1/2yrs.)

Our pre-school program utilizes your child’s increased knowledge and longer attention span to help develop his/her language and social skills. Working at his/her own pace, and guided by our professional staff, your child is exposed to a curriculum, which has been developed around a variety of selected themes. Each theme is coordinated into your child’s daily activities to help reinforce the theme through ordinary play.

Pre-Kindergarten (3 ½ to 5 yrs.)

The Pre-K child is now ready and able to accept challenges at a much more advanced level than before. Just Like Home provides Pre-K children with a reading readiness program, a hands on science curriculum, as well as a balanced math program using a variety of manipulatives.

Before and After School Program (6 to 9 yrs)

Your child’s school day runs from 9a.m to 3 p.m. Your workday begins at 8 a.m. and doesn’t end until 5 p.m. Who will watch the kids during those hours when you’re at work and they’re out of school? Just Like Home allows you to drop off before work and pick up on the way home. In between we’ll provide a nourishing snack, supervised activities and experienced homework help.

Little Leapers (Toddler thru Pre-Kindergarten)

Once a week, the children are offered an exciting program that focuses on lifetime skills such as balance, coordination, and body movement. Children realize a sense of accomplishment when they master new skills and build fitness- and have great fun at the same time.

Computer Programs

At Just Like Home, we bring learning into the new century with our state of the art computer programs. Programs are offered yearly to students as part of our daily classroom activities. The center is equipped with IBM compatible equipment, with the latest CD-ROM features.

Field Trips

Life is an adventure and at Just Like Home, we have an adventure at least once a month (weather permitting). Children will have the opportunity to visit parks, farms the theater and more. We need permission for each trip and parents can come along as chaperones.
